Vun Kinnertied an, Euklid in´d Sinn
De Schuur vörm Meer vör Ogen
Wieder geiht he, eensam in de Ödnis
Över hüm klagend Stemmen d´ groten Vögels
Links de loos un ruume Marsk
De Strand rechts neet to överkieken
Ieselk schimmernde Flagen
as leeg de Wereld in wittem Dood
De Reselve weer foot
Man dat is en Wark up Dood un Leven
Elkeen tegen hüm
Störmpietkst riddt he de Diek langs
Stiev Blick gen Meer, het de Brekers in´t Vermick
Drussels ut Gras swirren um de Hofen
Rood weerlüchten Ogen tüsken bleker Mahn
Ofgünst to all Sieden
Eenstig Stöön bi Wiev und Telg
Van Wiedte dat Snuven van ́t Ross
Lett de Hannen faster packen
„Frisk bi! De Schimmelsrieder kummt!“
Doch so de Störm kummt un de Diek nich hollt
Riddt Hauke Haien in de Nacht
Froo un Kind vörweg, de Rieder achteran

While Ofte jeg drømmer mig død will most likely always be my favourite Afsky album (being one ov my favourite albums in general), Om hundrede år ticks all the boxes I hoped it would: the calm and simultaneously depressing folk elements are there; the wailing screams of a forlorn spirit, forced to eternally wander the woods (apt comparison, deadpunk!); the harsh, bitterly cold guitar riffs and the ultimate realisation of life, death and our inevitable undoing. Exactly what I want. Recommended! David Fischer

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

Every track on this album is perfect. Hard to pick a favourite but the opening with Einklang and it's segue into Dem Wind entgegen is amazing, gets me everytime VB_Stubby
